Wallet Accounts

Seed phrases generate the randomness needed to create Bitcoin keys and addresses. In a hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallet like Oyl, a single seed phrase can spawn numerous addresses. When you first import your seed phrase into Oyl, the initial account created is assigned to wallet index 0. Subsequent accounts are created with incremented indices, so adding another account assigns it to index 1, and so forth.
If you've previously created accounts in another wallet that use different indices, you may need to add multiple accounts to your Oyl wallet until you reach the index that holds your assets. This ensures that all accounts and associated assets are accessible within Oyl.
To view your accounts, click on the "Account" button located in the upper left corner of the interface. This will display a list of all the accounts you have added, arranged sequentially. The account associated with index 0 appears first, followed by the account at index 1, and continuing in that order.
